Mira

A small-moments sharing app: post photos and short videos, follow friends, keep the posts you liked, and message people privately, in an interface kept deliberately light.

  • In development
Three Mira app screens (the feed, the discover grid, and a profile page) on a dark panel.

Product overview

Share the small things, quietly

Mira is built around one simple idea: somewhere to tell the small stories of a day does not have to be complicated. The feed runs straight down, the actions people use most sit on the post itself, and the rest of the app is four tabs and no more.

What stands out

  • A vertical feed with photos and short videos that play in place. Liking, saving and commenting happen on the post, without opening another screen.
  • A discover grid, other people's profiles, following, and one place that collects everything you saved.
  • Private messages, notifications, and a composer that takes a photo from the library or the camera. The whole interface has a light and a dark mode.

What runs today

  • The development build runs the feed, discover, profiles, messaging and posting.
  • Likes, follows, saved posts, comments and settings all survive closing the app.
  • There is no server yet, so sign-in accepts any well-formed account and the content is sample data.

Screenshots come from a development build running in a simulator. The accounts, posts and messages shown are sample data, the imagery comes from free stock sources, and none of it belongs to a real person. The app is not on the App Store or Google Play.
